Center of Attention
Melba is doing better, although she now needs to wear a cone so she doesn’t lick her sutures. Before, she was very popular with everyone who got onto the building’s elevator with us, but now she is the center of attention everywhere.

Melba’s Bad Day
Today, Melba had to go in to have Suspicious Masses removed from her tummy, and while she was there, the vet discovered a bad tooth that needed removing. My poor baby.

Assembly Required
Hallelujah, Melba and I survived the move. Today we are assembling the apartment, and we’ve worked out a system: I get out tools to assemble furniture, and Melba lays down to sleep atop them. After only half a bookshelf, Melba has her job down pat.
