When did selfies become verboten? Sure, I know they’re generally of terrible quality, but was that the only thing that pushed them out the door?
When I first started blogging, it seemed that the only knit bloggers who featured pictures taken by someone else were the knit bloggers lucky enough to have knitting friends. Everyone else was stuck laying things out on beds or sneaking into the bathroom after dark to do a modeled shot.
I know there was a point where I started to gain confidence as a knitter and a blogger, and feeling that my knitting deserved some good photos. My efforts are not always a success, and there are those days where I know there’s 36 hours of work in a 24-hour day. Today is one of them, and near the top of my to-do list is the never ending blanket.
So sorry, guys, today all I’ve got for you is a selfie.

Nothing wrong with a selfie! I think I’d rather see pictures in progress with a human being in tow than the item alone if possible. That orange color is so delicious I just want to squeal! Such a sunny, happy choice of color.
Thanks Cassy! The blanket has definitely gotten to the point that it looks like an orange blob when laid out on a table. With me for perspective, you can tell that it’s a growing blob!
